Hello,

I am Julia Riitijoki, a Finnish comic book enthusiast, illustrator and colorist as well as a graphic designer with some experience in game graphics and video editing. Currently I’m studying interactive media in Tampere University of Applied Science.

Even though this portfolio consists mostly of colorings and drawings, I’ve also done a lot of layout work (for magazines, posters and flyers) and some vector graphics for logos, etc. In addition to this, I have done photography, been a teacher at comics courses and workshops, worked for a newspaper making advertisements and assisted in the coloring of Perkeros (Sing No Evil) as well as other works by JP Ahonen.

I am proficient in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. I have basic video editing skills in Premiere and Final Cut Pro. I also do basic animating in After Effects.

My hobbies and interests outside of graphical artistry include music (both listening and playing), longboarding and binge-watching well-written TV shows.

I am located and capable of working in the Tampere region.
